Arie Haan suspended for taunting official with RMB

BEIJING: Former Chinese national team coach Arie Haan has cheap watches received a three-game suspension by the CFA (Chinese Football Association) for taunting the fourth official with a handful of 100 yuan on a disputed penalty. Haan took over Chongqing after leaving Albanian national team's coaching position in April, and the bottom side of the CSL (Chinese Super League) pinned their hopes on the former Dutch football star. The Disciplinary Committee of the CFA ruled on Tuesday that Haan's behaviour is an immoral insult to the fourth official and decided to punish him. Apart from the ban, Haan was also fined 15,000 yuan ($2500). Haan was lucky as Guoan missed that penalty, and lost to Omega watches Chongqing 3-2 in the end.
